BIOGRAPHY

I have been making signs for most of my life. I began with hand lettering the names of businesses on office doors, on the walls of buildings and on trucks. I then included gold leaf lettering on store windows and fire trucks. I lettered the place names on ornate period maps which were part of a series of murals in the Capitol building in Washington and way-finding signs on the marble walls of Grand Central Station.

I am an alumnus of The Rhode Island School of Design where I went to study photography. With the advent of computers I began to combine photography with the sign work. I have designed and produced huge exterior banners for such businesses as the Plaza Hotel during it's conversion to private residences. I have also conceived of and produced elaborate multi-media displays and environments in sales offices for the marketing luxury real estate.

I have executed fine artwork for other artists and have created murals of my own.

When the imagery and branding that you want to present to the world leaves the computer screen or the printed page to manifest on a larger scale and become part of the environment,

I can help you to do this beautifully, creatively and in many different ways, ranging from hand craftsmanship to high technology.
